Calendar Girls in London

Calendar Girls the West End stage show first toured the UK and then ran in London initially for a 12-week period beginning 4th April 2009.

Calendar Girls the play tells the real-life story of a group of Yorkshire WI members who decide to pose for a charity calendar. The film version of the story won awards starring Helen Mirren Julie Walters and John Alderton and then Calendar Girls the West End show was announced with a cast including Lynda Bellingham, Patricia Hodge, Sian Phillips and Gaynor Faye. Tim Firth the original writer was again behind the stage adaptation.

Celebrities Jerry Hall, June Brown and Jill Halfpenny took over in Calendar Girls until 17 October, 2009.
